Passive Income from your phone

few weeks ago my friend Simple Ula shared this cool post on her blog related to in my opinion to passive income, I personally love the idea of having passive income as a way of making money, and for that I also use couple of apps that help me generate the passive income without too much effort. As an example I use ibotta and it’s the coolest thing ever the rewards are phenomenal. So, I decided to check out these lockscreen Ads and I am so glad I did. So, here it is check it out. What to do so we won’t do anything, but we will earn some money?

I’m going to write for you about the ways of creating some passive income from your phone and today I’m going to write about lockscreen ads.

You won’t make a full time income from it, but you’ll, for sure, make some of the so claim passive income. They’re free to download so why not, right?

At the very beginning, I was pretty skeptic about it and also worried that it will slow down my phone, but nothing like that happened, fortunately. That’s why I’m happy to share it with you guys :).

With both of these ways below, you can withdraw your money through PayPal or if you want, you can get a gift card to amazon, Starbucks, Ebay, etc.

1. Slidejoy

This app puts adds on your lockscreen and all you have to do is just swipe to the left before you use your phone (if you have some code on your phone, the code will go next, nothing changes). No clicking on the add, no nothing and it also doesn’t matter how much you use your phone. Just as simple as it sounds and it pays you (by giving you points) just for having adds on your lockscreen on your phone. It takes for me half a second to get rid of it to use my phone normally Believe me, it’s very easy to (download it here) and to use it. You can also do surveys to get some extra money, which you can cash out through Slidejoy.

2. Fronto

It is an alternative to which works basically the same as Slidejoy. You can download it here and if you use my referral code: yadiz , we both will get 1,250 points so how amazing it would be for you to start this app with already some extra points on your account (to be honest I wish I had a referral code from someone when I downloaded it). It only takes another half of a second for me to get rid of it and “get to” my phone as normal. You can also do surveys on this app, just like on  Earn up to $7500 for one sale!

href=”http://getslidejoy.com/r2/e3pszDBsQqgmtzo8GQaFhg”>Slidejoy .

Slidejoy has better reviews, but for me they’re both great and I have them both on my phone, why not, when you can get some extra coffee or green tea latte for free a month or collect all this money and save it for a purchase on Amazon whenever you’re ready :).

Unfortunately both of these apps work only on Android, sorry Iphone owners. I’m sure Iphone also  has some cool ways of generating some passive income.

Red to Green Economy E-book

Happy Mother’s Day!

I couldn’t think of a better idea to share this Mother’s Day Weekend. I hope my new E-book somehow encourages you. I have an incredible number of beautiful women that have inspired me through the years.

As a think of each of them my friends and relative moms or potential moms I think of all the things a woman can endure and I am grateful to my Heavenly Father for his love and kindness for allowing us women to be overcomes, I look back at my own life story and I smile but at the same time I feel how God has use every single event, and every single setback as a blessing.

Some of us women don’t look like what we been through.

Yep! You know it and I repeat some of us women don’t look like what we been through. But God!

Humbly, I thought of writing this post to give back some inspiration the the women that have inspired me too many to mention but if you’re a women and you are reading this post I am talking to you.

For every setback in my life God have had a come back plan. One of those come backs for me has been in the form of my new E-book, I hope you feel encourage to read it but at the same time be encourage to follow your passion.

I wanted to take the opportunity this Mother’s day to dedicate to you my E-Book Red to Green Economy. Tittle after my consulting business.

It all started with the desire to live a life that can impact others and can be impacted by others. I realized today that God can use anything. And that always been my prayer. If you can use anything Lord you can use me.

I went from struggle to struggle and people telling me I can’t do something or even people trying to tell me I need to do this or that to be successful to following my heart.

You’ve always heard others say that you must follow your passion and if you’re like me the question stands how do you do that?

But since I been bless with the gift of motherhood I find that as a woman and as a mother our biggest why are our children.

So my hope and prayer is that when you see me or think of me you can say if she can do it, if she can write an E-book or more than just one E-book several of them.  I know that I know that I know that I can do it.

Whatever dreams or business ideas you have I hope I can inspired you to pursue it. I am nothing special, and many times I feel like quitting then I remember how hard it is and then if I quit I will have to do this over and over again so the answer I give myself is if you want to stop failing then you need to stop quitting.

I see my beautiful daughter Victoria, I see my amazing husband, my friends and family I want to make them, I want to make you proud and that is enough motivation to continue. And the fact that I know and you should know that God can turn all of your setbacks into blessings.

God bless you! You can find my E-book on my website www.redtogreeneconomy.com or by visiting https://payhip.com/b/wtez

10 REASONS TO BECOME A DIY HERO

I gave a lot of thought to this topic mainly because up until a few months ago I wasn’t your type of DIY (Do It Yourself) gal. Like must people I thought the chances of screwing things up we’re not worth the hassle besides why invest time and energy trying to do things I never did before? I thought just call the pros save yourself the energy and the money. Cause after all we know that cheap can get expensive! Well a number of experiences has lead me do somethings myself after all like Mark Twain says, Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did. That’s not the only reason though, recently became a stay at home mom more like I went from having a full time job to a part time job in the transition we had to live on one income and we wanted to continue life as usual the more money I am able to save the more we’re able to fill in the gaps So, I Sailed away from the safe harbor and here are few things I learned:

    1. The opportunity to engage our hands and our brain in things we thought we couldn’t do. The sense of reward one gets from doing or fixing things with our hands can’t be earned any other way, we get to develope new skills and it’s obvious that we learn faster from “hands-on” experiences even if that means through trials and errors.

    1. Becoming a DIY hero will give you a sense of empowerment and self confidence. A while ago we needed a part change in the beamer, we went to the shop and the guy said $1,500.00 including parts and labor and you need to leave your beamer here for at least 2 days. We decided to shop around and find out the actual price of the part. Long story short, we watched a Youtube video, I went to auto-zone paid $16.00 for the part and in less than a minute change the part. It was so easy cause I just gad to unplug the the old part and plug the new one. We ended up saving a ton of money (refer to: The secrete to saving money)
    2. You-tube can teach you how to become a DIY hero, pretty much You-tube can teach you anything. No excuses, there’s no excuses for not doing things yourself or doing what you want. Fixing the car was not the only thing I learned on Youtube and I’m not able to always fix it myself, we take it to the shop with regularity and give it the proper maintenance. But, I learned how to do my pedi and mani and even my hair, so yeah! Pretty much you can learn just about anything in Youtube.
    3. By becoming a DIY hero you will also develop a connection to new people. You become a citizen of the world there’s a large community of DIYers in the web login in to social media everyday, you can feel confident interacting with them exchanging ideas take initiative what skills do you have? Offer to help anyone you know might benefit from your skills who knows one day you might turn it into a business. Just make it clear when offering to help that you’re unskilled, grunt labor and want to learn. Everyone needs a happy helper on a job,.
    4. Never under estimate yourself. You will never know if you don’t try, don’t pass an opportunity to do things yourself, you can be a DIY hero if I believe in you then you should believe in yourself also, you are never too busy to work on your stuff, you work too hard to let things fall apart at home, become handy set a time to do things around whether is daily, weekly, by weekly or monthly hold yourself accountable and do the things you said you will do.
    5. Remember the 80/20 do 100% your best but If the end result looks like an 80% at the beginning, don’t sweat that 20% means room to grow In other words, be OK with getting some paint on the ceiling when you paint your own house get it! Remember that practice makes progress the more you do the more you learn, the more you will know that you can be a DIY hero.
    6. Shadow a pro. If you do hire a pro to do the work, don’t let them toil alone. Fetch tools,  ask questions, sweep the floor, get the coffee, skills are learned and they can be transferable, watch them work.keep asking smart questions and praise their craft. True masters of trade are happy to explain the whats and whys of their work. Don’t be annoying, but also remember that you’re paying them and they’re working for you.
    7. You  learn other things in the process of taking on any task and these pieces of knowledge and the skills you learn will be useful in future projects whether is fixing your car, your washer, painting your roof or doing your nails. Don’t take it lightly if you’re going to learn to do something is worth to learn doing it right.

    1. You are showing your children,  friends and family that they can do it themselves too. If someone like me who is nothing special” can do these things, surely they can, too. Everyone thinks is difficult until is done. Remember the four miles barrier? According to legend, experts said for years that the human body was simply not capable of a 4-minute mile.  It wasn’t just dangerous; it was impossible. Further legends hold that people had tried for over a thousand years to break the barrier, even tying bulls behind them to increase the incentive to do the impossible. In the 1940’s, the mile record was pushed to 4:01, where it stood for nine years, as runners struggled with the idea that, just maybe, the experts had it right.  Perhaps the human body had reached its limit. On May 6, 1954, Roger Bannister broke the 4-minute barrier, running the distance in 3:59.4.  As part of his training, he relentlessly visualized the achievement in order to create a sense of certainty in his mind and body. Barely a year after Bannister’s accomplishment,  someone else ran a mile in under 4 minutes. Then some more runners did. Now, it’s almost routine. If you get up to do something  These people are more likely to try it themselves.

  1. Just try it! DIY! You will thank yourself for doing so. Short of replacing your electrical panel or roof, it’s highly unlikely you’ll ever be in real danger when working on your house or doing things yourself. And, if you’re careful and do your research in advance, you’re probably not going to seriously mess anything up you’ll become a DIY hero.

How likely are you to try DIY doing something new?

EMERGENCY FUND

I remember as if it was yesterday, the day we finally conpleted our starter emergency fund. It was a day full of joy and celebration well you know the saying; money isn’t everything. But not having it when you most need it can be really stressful.

Yes, now I can say that my emergency fund is a blessing, but it wasn’t until a few years ago when one day we said enough is enough, we both my amazing husband and I work too hard to have nothing to show for it. And we were no strangers to the stress and discouragement that comes with not having enough money to put gas in the car or even replace a tire, maybe you never been there. When there’s too much month at the end of the money? Well that’s exactly where we come from and it is our hope that one of these days you can also say that your emergency fund is a blessing, make that your statement

We’ve all had those big expenses we didn’t see coming. That was our case That’s life. But that future (inevitable) emergency doesn’t have to stress you out.

Well one day we had this doctor’s appointment and I had to go through surgery, we went to the hospital to pre-reg. Fortunally we had get rid of Murphy and he no longer lived nor travel with us no more.

We, useed our emergency fund!

Your emergency fund is money provides a cushion between you and all the stuff that hits the fan. We had it! We were able to pre-reg and walked out of the place with a feeling everyone should experience.

One day we decided to kick Murphy out, he knock on our door from time to time and we gladly wave our emergency fund in his face, so he goes to check on our neighbors.

Well here are four common questions about emergency funds and how to set yours up:

    1.  How much should I save? We recommend a starter emergency fund of $1,000. That’s an amount you can save quickly and still cover most issues. Eventually, you’ll want to build it up to three to six months’ worth of expenses. But that’s later. For now, focus on getting it started—and fast. Do this before you pay down debt or save for anything else.
    2. How do I find the money for it? You never know Budgets are desinged to help you get traction and ultimately win with your moneyuntil you make one. You’ll probably find cash you didn’t know you had! Plus, you can cut back in a few areas (like restaurants and entertainment) and find even more. You can also boost your savings by selling stuff online or picking up a bit of side work.

    1. Where should I keep it? Put a category marked “emergency fund” in your budget with a certain amount you want to save each month. This account will gradually build up and be ready to cover your immediate needs—like your heater making that-can’t-be-good noises when it’s freezing outside! Keep this cash in your regular bank account, or transfer it over in a new account when it hits $1,000. It’s up to you!

  1. What happens when I’m done saving?Once you have enough saved for emergencies, focus on your other debt or savings goals. But when you use your emergency fund, be sure to refill it as soon as possible. That way, it’ll be waiting for you when you need it next (and you will!) Refer to The secret to saving money you can also contact us for more tips on saving, paying off debt  and staying out of debt.

REWARD YOURSELF FREE APPS THAT PUT MONEY BACK IN YOUR POCKET

Wouldn’t it be nice to make a little extra money on the side each month?

We use all kinds of apps every day and I know that when it comes to all those so call reward programs most people are skeptical but, the truth is that, making money on the side does not always have to incolve a full blown small business. You can very easily make more money by doing things you already do or by doing things you love to do. We want to encourage you to earn a little extra cash (or gift cards) as a way to score some extra savings. Here is a roundup of some of our favorite ways to save money

We like SavingStarEbates  Checkout51, andSurveyMini, but our top two favorite programs are Ibotta and Swagbucks.

Savingstar

Before you shop, you select the offers that you want. After your shopping trip, you upload your receipt for processing OR simply link your local grocery store’s loyalty card with the app. You can choose for your cash to be deposited in your bank account, Paypal, or donated to a charity of your choice. What I like about SavingStar is that they usually have a “healthy offer of the week” where they list savings on produce. Coupons on produce are hard to come by, so its a great weekly score.

Ebates

If you find that you do most of your shopping online why not get paid when you do? I do most of my own shopping online and one of my favorite ways to get cash back is via eBates.com

eBates is a website (and app) that gives you a percentage of your purchase back when you shop at one of the over 1,500 stores they are affiliated with. For instance, if you spend $100 at a specific online store affiliated with eBates and they offer 10% cash back, you will get $10 deposited into your eBates accounts.

eBates is set up so that your earnings can accumulate and so every 3 months they send you a check or make a deposit into your Paypal account.Initially I was a bit skeptical but I did some research and once I tried it, I was hooked. Basically eBates makes deals with retail stores and offers to drive sales to their websites by offering cash back discounts. They make money through commissions earned for each sale the retailer gets.

It’s free to setup and when you do you get a $10 bonus. It’s definitely a great way to earn some extra cash! They also have a great referral system where you can earn $5 for every person that sign up and uses their account make a purchase ( as long as they make a minimum purcahse of $25).

Checkout51

Is similar to Savingstar. You select products that you plan to purchase and upload your receipt after you purchase them. You usually get paid out in the form of a check after you have earned $20.

Surveymini

SurveyMini uses your location to find surveys from stores that you have frequented. It asks you some basic questions about your shopping trip and rewards you with points. Once you have earned enough points, you can cash out for giftcards. Some stores also offer you free drinks or entrees for completing the survey. Thats a win in my book!

ibotta

Have you started using IBOTTA yet?IBOTTA is the bomb when it comes to offering cash back on your grocery store purchases. Basically, it works in three ways:
